I had plans to keep the blog going during my week’s trip to London. I had some blog posts prepared and quickly publishing them shouldn’t have been so difficult.
In between all the gorgeous architecture, markets, day trips, pubs, parks, parakeets, West End musicals, cabaret shows and immense amounts of food, I just – to use a local expression – couldn’t be arsed. But I’m back now! Modern officially starts for me today, jazz and ballet continue as planned.
I have aquired a new dance bag in Camden market. Can’t resist a cute Cthulhu for the life of me, and it’s much larger than the Majora’s Mask tote I’ve been using. I like to carry a ton of stuff just on the off-chance I might need it, from meds and band-aids to extra socks and knee pads. Cthulhu is also somewhat waterproofed, which is nice. The colour is a bit of a disadvantage though, since the corners of the dance studios where I stash the bag tend to be grubby. Then again, what is some dirt to a Great Old One?
Ph’nglui mglw’nafh Cthulhu R’lyeh wgah’nagl fhtagn. (Disclaimer: Bloody heavy Lovecraft omnibus not usually included in contents of dance bag.)
